Amy Jørgensen is an award-winning Australian composer and pianist. From intimate piano solos to full symphony orchestra, Amy's innovative work encompasses music for the concert hall, film + TV, and solo albums.

Amy has written music for over 60 film/TV projects, including James Cameron's Deepsea Challenge 3D, (which earned Amy an Australian Academy Award nomination for "Best Original Score"), as well as projects with Channel 7, National Geographic, the Nine Network, Netflix, the ABC, SBS, 21st Century FOX, Nickelodeon, the Disney Channel, the Melbourne and Adelaide Symphony Orchestras, The Song Company and The Australian String Quartet.

Amy is classically trained (Sydney Conservatorium of Music, New York University, Berklee) but also spent much of her childhood touring the Australian countryside, playing keyboard in her family's rock/pop band. When at home, Amy’s mother would sit beside her at the piano, recounting stories that Amy would improvise music to. As a result, Amy's music is rooted in classical technique; but also embraces pop music structures and emotive, narrative-driven musical storytelling.

Whether writing for film, for orchestra, or for solo piano,  Amy's music is always deeply emotive, beautiful and cinematic.
